MASTERING Engineer @ Fluid Mastering
By day I am a mastering engineer at renowned mastering studio Fluid Mastering, based in London W6.
I began as an intern in June 2014 before rising up the ranks to full-time engineer a year later. During my time at Fluid I have worked on releases for a wide variety of labels and artists, both major and independent.
My personal highlight has to be working on Seal's 2015 release '7' as an assistant. Key mastering credits include mastering for Gregory Porter, The Lumineers and Radio 1's Live Lounge. Recently I've been working on releases for The Shires, Jammer and Yellow Days.
Some of my favourite work I do at the studio employs a 'stem-mix' approach, which combines my love of creative mixing with the technical aspects of mastering. This approach ideally suits the needs of songwriting producers who do most of their mixing in the box as they write, but still want a finishing touch without having to go down a sometimes costly and destructive separate mix process.
My other work at the studio includes de-noising, editing, transferring and compiling.
The Fluid Mastering studio is equipped with the finest analogue and digital equipment and the best monitoring you've ever heard. Come for an attended session and enjoy spending some time in the best sounding room in London.
